Engage Morning

This morning (27th April) the Year 2, 3 and 4 children from Sharnford and Sapcote schools came together in mixed groups to enjoy an exciting carousel of activities introducing our new prehistoric topic of Tribal Tales. Mrs Wagg led a fun and artistic cave-painting session where the pupils explored pastels, charcoal and chalks to create wonderful representations of stone-age artwork. Mrs Allen led an exploration of archaeology, the children loved taking part in their very own excavations, recording and documenting their finds. Miss Ellingworth showed the children awesome stone-age monuments and monoliths and the children enjoyed recreating their own structures through the medium of rock cakes, yum! A great start to our learning for the half-term :)
