Leicester Cathedral Advent Service

Children from both school councils and some Y3 diosing children attended the Advent Service at Leicester Cathedral on Monday 7th December. The service was based around the 'Journey to Christmas' as seen through the eyes of Mary, Joseph and the donkey! Before they went the children had to find out how long it would have taken them to walk to their place of birth - a long way for some of our children! The service concluded with Bishop John giving a speech based around this theme. After the service the children had lunch in the Grand Hall at St Martins.

As always our children were beautifully behaved and it was lovely to see them thinking about this special season and the meaning behind it. Thank you to those who came along to help out! We hope you enjoyed the service too!
