The Y6 children had a fantastic day on their wet and wild watersports leavers trip! It began with a round robin of activities: kayaking, canoeing and searching for carp in the shadows of the lake! Only a few children managed to dunk themselves in, but luckily the sun shine soon had them dry again! That took up until lunch and then it was raft building time - some teams managed better than others! Trying out their rafts was fun though; with quite a bit of splashing each other along the way! The grand finale to the day was jumping into the lake off the pier - a bit smelly, but great fun too!
As usual, the children were an absolute pleasure to be with all day and we thoroughly enjoyed watching them getting dunked and soaked! Hehe!
