On Thursday 27th February, All Saints hosted a Science Morning for parents and carers to come into school and enjoy participating in different science activities with their children. In Willow Class, the Year 6 pupils devised and conducted their own tests as 'real' scientists - including some of our children dressing up smartly in white lab coats and safety goggles - to explore the different properties of a variety of material samples. Our visitors helped them to carry out their tests more fairly and to record their findings accurately, using precise scientific language. A fun session was had by all and we were very pleased to welcome in so many of our parents and grandparents. After our visitors had departed, the children worked hard to write up their testing as formal scientific reports.
Very well done, Willow Class!
