On behalf of the governors, staff and children I am delighted to welcome you to our federation website which aims to give you a taster of the schools in our federation, as well as providing regular updated information for both parents and pupils.
Our federation consists of two schools; All Saints Church of England Primary School Sapcote and Sharnford C.E Primary School and was formed in 2006 to enhance the provision for all our pupils. Our schools are both small village schools with a family feel, set in delightful grounds less than 5 miles from Hinckley and within 11 miles of Leicester. Both schools also work closely with Ullesthorpe CE Primary School as a hub of schools within the Inspiring Primaries Academy Trust.
We are committed to providing our children with the very best education that prepares them academically, personally and socially for the next stage of their education and beyond.
Our strong Christian ethos and close links with All Saints Church, St Helen’s Church and the Methodist churches in our villages promotes a very positive and caring attitude among our pupils, who behave well and work hard. Pupils are valued as individuals and their teachers know them well. Recently both schools were judged Outstanding in a SIAMS inspection. This is a formal inspection made by the Church of England under Section 48 of the 2005 Education Act.
We provide a rich and varied curriculum enriched by the use of specialist teachers, trips, visitors and residential experiences.
Our staff and governors are knowledgeable and hardworking, they work together to ensure our schools continue to go from strength to strength. Teachers plan and deliver lessons that are relevant and interesting and take into account the needs of each child. As a result the quality of teaching in our schools is good and some is outstanding and children across the schools make good progress.
We hope that you enjoy your visit to our website and that you find any information that you are looking for. Please feel free to contact myself at either school with any queries you may have.
